Is there a multiplayer mod for Derail Valley? ›

Multiplayer is a Derail Valley mod that adds multiplayer to the game, allowing you to play with your friends. It works by having one player host a game, and then other players can join that game.

VR or non-VR? Both. Derail Valley fully supports playing on a regular PC, using mouse and keyboard on a flat screen, but virtual reality is where it really shines.

You just need to... Install SMAPI. That's the mod loader for Stardew Valley — it launches the game with mod support and lets mods interact directly with the game code. It's safely installed alongside your normal game, and you can uninstall it anytime.

Passengers cars are used to carry passengers. They are not used for Jobs currently, and can only be spawned in using the Comms radio's Spawner Mode. Red, blue, and green versions exist. No visual change occurs when the Comms radio is used to load one with passengers, but the weight does increase by 6,000kg.

Lighters can be purchased from shops for $150. Their main use is to ignite the firebox of steam locomotives by throwing one in, after which it will return to your inventory and can be used again. It can ignite flammable cargo leaking from damaged cars.

Sadly no plans on console ports currently, being out of our scope for our small team, but we hope to get there eventually.

The locomotive remote is purchased in the shop at Machine Factory & Town. It is used to change the controls of a locomotive from outside the locomotive's cab.

There are currently seven locomotives featured in Derail Valley - the BE2, DE2, DH4, DM3, S282, S060 and DE6. They can be categorized several different ways, the most general distinction being between the old and modern locomotives.

If you break or deliberately ignore the rules, you will receive 1 warning. You can receive 3 warnings in total. The 4th warning you receive will be a ban.

And finally, SMAPI connects a vast community that is quick to spot and react to potential cyber risks that might concern SMAPI software. While SMAPI itself is relatively safe, it's the mods themselves that you should be careful about.

Installing SMAPI

SMAPI is a modded client for Stardew Valley allowing you to install mods. Run Stardew Valley once on your PC so it completes its first-time setup. Download the latest version of SMAPI.

If you are using CheatEngine to change your money but have had no luck simply change the "Value Type" to "Double" then scan for your money amount and it should be found. Change the amount to what you would like and then make a purchase at a office and it should reflect to show the amount you changed it to.

Installed mods will be in your game folder, under Derail Valley\Mods.

Download the Tale of Two Wastelands Installer and extract the contents of the archive anywhere outside of the default Windows folders. button at the top and select Open Mods folder. Here, create a folder named Tale of Two Wastelands and then copy its path.
