Do retired Jellycat toys come back in stock?
Unfortunately, when a design is retired, this means that Jellycat will no longer be manufacturing it, so once the available products are sold, there is no way to order more of them. The retired design can only be bought brand new from official retailers like Jeremy’s Home Store while stocks last.
As sad as it is to see some adorable friendly faces go, Jellycat has to retire older designs to make way for new lines, as new Jellycat collections are released several times a year. The main collections tend to come out around January and July, while smaller seasonal ranges drop throughout the year – such as spring, summer, Halloween, and Christmas.
These special seasonal launches are more likely to be retired, while the most popular main Jellycat ranges are far less likely to be discontinued – though some character designs are updated from time to time with slight changes to replace designs that are several years old.
If you find a design listed here as a retired Jellycat, that means once it’s gone, it’s gone! However, if a Jellycat soft toy is out of stock, but listed as ‘coming soon’, this may mean that the design will be restocked in the near future – you can always contact us to check.
