Amazing location and hotel. Food and service was outstanding. Brunch was incredible and Stanitia welcomed us with a hug and recommended that we had the pancakes as an additional plate and she was not wrong. All staff are so lovely here. If you want an all inclusive relaxing get away, this is your place.

Everyone was very hospitable. Making sure everything was the best possible experience. It’s difficult to pick out one individual as everyone was so helpful from cleaners and gardeners to restaurant staff and management.Stamatia was very good in the breakfast brunch making sure we had everything we needed delivered with enthusiasm and fun. An excellent holiday destination.

I absolutely Loved it here. I cannot wait to come back! Our favourite place was the brunch - big shout out to Stamatia and Anxhela, who treat us like friends not guests. Eggs Benedict and the pancakes were OUT OF THIS WORLD!The buffet was gorgeous, the gyros on the beach was incredible. Rooms are a brilliant size, we had a shared pool bungalow which was a great size for 3 adults. Pool is cold but it’s perfect when it’s hot and you need a refresher. I loved the staff - Elisabeth in the main restaurant in the morning is a shining light! Loved it and we will be back.

Our second visit to a Mitsis on an all inclusive holiday and we were delighted! We have returned home relaxed and wishing we could go back.Considering the size of the place, they do an amazing job with the catering. There are lots of different restaurants to choose from (as long as you book them in advance) and the food at the buffet was tasty and fresh. The varied bars serve tasty co*cktails and drinks. I wouldn't call it fine dining but I'm an ex chef who lives in Paris, the thing Mitsis does really well is an all inclusive hotel with everything included. Our room was spacious and in a great location. The linins, towels and products provided in the room were luxurious. The mini bar was topped up daily and the bed comfy. Our daughter was delighted by the kids club and the activities proposed. She had a great holiday and made new friends thanks to the caring team.Best part of Mitsis is the welcome and friendly service. All of the staff did a great job making our holiday a relaxing experience. Not only will we return but we will recommend you again in the future.

Lovely hotel with amazing surroundings. Stamatia at brunch was warm and friendly, our pool guy was very good too. Room was beautiful. Would definitely love to come back.

The hotel is amazing, we stayed in the plunge pool room with sea view and jt was great, rooms cleaned each day with fresh refreshments and towels. The service was great, all staff are welcoming and ready to assist you with any needs and requests. The main all inclusive restaurant is basic hence we dined at the Med restaurant within the resort most days. Also room service is great and food is delicious. The rooms are clean, people lovely and friendly, location is great as its in center of Kos with lovely views of surroundings.

Annabel Wood

Absolutely beautiful hotel, amazing food, always something to do. Clean, modern rooms. Nothing to complain about there. However service in the restaurants is slow, slighly rude and not organised very well.

Sebastian Große

This hotel is one of the most beautiful places we have ever been to. The location is a dream and the rooms are perfect. Clean and very spacious and with a perfect view. The staff is very friendly and they always give their best to solve every guest request. Especially good is the Spa. We had a massage and a facetreat and it was fabolous. Foods and drinks are good and always available. We highly recommend the Med Bar, especially Victorias drinks and for Dinner the Den bbq bar.

Madison Croft

We absolutely loved our stay and wished we could've stayed longer! We upgraded our room to a Double Sea View and I'm so glad we did. It was beautiful, the view was incredible and the bed was so so comfy, we didn't want to get up! The Nescafe coffee machine, mini bar and toiletries were a lovely touch. We felt welcomed as soon as we arrived and everyone was so polite and friendly throughout our stay. Nothing was too much trouble.Being able to book all restaurants at no extra charge was fantastic as although the food in the main restaurant was lovely, it felt a little repatative at times. The sunbeds by the pool were really comfy and although snapped up early, they soon cleared throughout the day. The waiter and bar staff were brilliant. Our fave was the pizza at lunch at the Med!We would recommend this hotel to anyone. Although be prepared for a lot of steps, there are lifts however. It is out of the way, but we knew this before booking but it was perfect for the relaxation we needed.

I booked a week all inclusive for my sons wedding in September 2023. We spent 2 nights here and had to move hotels. Be aware the hotel is literally in the middle of nowhere. It does say due to hilly location not suitable for disabilities, what it should say is there are no lifts within the hotel and the staircases are spiral, making it completely inaccessible to anyone with mobility issues. The rooms advertise the new limited number of new rooms so be aware because they are limited it is unlikely you will get one. The manager told me they are inundated with complaints because of this. The only time we tried to eat was at the late night buffet which was disgusting. We paid thousands of pounds for this and it was a complete waste of money. I have complained to love holidays for advertising a room and standard that we did not get. We were offered to move rooms at an additional cost of 200 euros, I told them I wasn't paying them another penny and moved hotels. The rooms and bathrooms are advertised as 'traditional modern ' they have not been updated in the old part of the hotel, at a guess since the 90s. I'd hate for anyone else to have the experience we did after spending thousands of pounds.

Rooms Very nice especially those with sea view. Absolutely stunning location… the area is very quiet and other that the hotel facilities, there is nothing else here. I scored a little lower on facilities only because the all-inclusive option isn’t really all-inclusive… if you want a bottle of water… you pay extra… if you want a nice coffee like cappuccino… you pay extra… if you want a drink after 11:00 pm you have to pay… Rooms aren’t cleaned every day and your bath and beach towels are only changed weekly…, silly things like this let them down badly… oh I nearly forgot, they don’t seem to replenish tea and coffee in your room so you’re left to pinch it from the restaurant.

Tony Lees

The hotel staff are very helpful and polite, the rooms are adequate but certainly not 5 star.A vast range of food at all meal times, dining room staff really good.Location bit out of the way, 30 euros for a taxi into town, the hotel puts a bus on twice a day 10 euros return trip.

Luke Quayle

Fantastic hotel, only here for 4 days but every second was amazing. All the staff were caring and wanted to do anything they could to make our stay better. Big shout out to the guy in the golf cart, singing his heart out and putting smiles on everyones face didnt catch his name but he was great

mark olsson

Absolutely shocking rooms with hardly any cleaning you have to pinch toilet rolls from cleaning trolly or general toilets excuse after excuse on why the cleaners only clean once or twice a week. The food was repetitive and Luke warm very little variation night after night. The bar prices are extortionate after 11pm there is nothing around the hotel for entertainment make sure you take euros with you for taxi's as the reception doesn't exchange money. The management are absolutely disgusting I had a accident in the dinning area the chair completely broke from under me I couldn't move my left side after suffering from a stroke months before all as the management did was to remove the broken chair and hide it so no photos could be taken they have no duty of care no first aiders no compassion left me to get to kos hospital by whatever way the whole experience of this holiday in this hotel was shocking and it's the same service for most other guests please be warned go on your own peril.

Joanna

The service, area and food was great. We had a lovely time. All members of staff were competent and polite. Aaron was super nice and friendly, he made our kids lough ;-) are planning to came here again

The entertainment team simply the best completely out of this world the evening shows had me and my family mesmerised. Lilly and Selina dancing ability jaw dropping. The team leader Italian man should have his own TV show had my wife in stitches but such a talent. The entertainment team would take the time out to speak with my daughter. I really hope they get payed well because they work dam hard and turned what would have been an average all Inclusive hotel stay into an amazing one.

Emma Binnie

Staff were great but after travelling over 20 hours and arriving at the hotel at 2am waited over an hour at check in and didn’t get into the room till 3:40am as there was one member of staff working for over 30 check ins but were told we had to pay €60 for tax even though our first night was spent in the main lobby and when brought up to the one member of staff working they were very dismissive over the situation and didn’t even apologise to keep everyone waiting , this included small children, toddlers and babies without offering any people water. The rooms would have got 4 stars if the beds weren’t built like rocks , but rooms were spotless on arrival. food options for people with limited food intake was not the best as safe foods for some people had some random seasoning or vegetable in it And food options seemed to be the same thing everyday. Staff offering room service came into the room at 8:20am without even knocking on door beforehand but that was before been awoken at 11:00pm with fireworks been set off without any information before hand. But overall staff were lovely and easily approachable.

Karen Walker

Absolutely loved it staff fantastic food was fabulous housekeeping in room 10 out of 10 so relaxing from start to finish. Pool loos cleanest ever. This place is huge but runs like a dream would stay again in a flash. Like being on a cruise ship.

Ashley Thomas

Not a 5 star hotel!Hotel rooms were clean, the shower did not run properly but was warm. All pools are freezing cold. Could not spend much time in them.Food was alright but very much the same all of the time.Bookable restaurants were similar with some being buffet style.Drinks like co*cktails were charged and over priced. Some bars will only serve a plastic glass unless you pay and then you’ll get it in a glass.Location isn’t great as there is nothing outside the hotel. There is a private beach which wasn’t a nice beach and looked nothing like what you’d expect when seeing pictures of Kos.If you want to go into town it’s around 40 minutes to walk. Or you can get a taxi which at the time of writing this was 9 euro or 15 euro for a mini bus.Overall it’s a nice hotel. Not a 5 start and because of how cold the pools were I wouldn’t stay here again. The entertainment in the evening however is 5 star and one of the best I have ever seen in a hotel. This is a family hotel. Not much going on in the bars apart from the theatre area in the evenings. If I was with a group of friends or just my wife I think it would be a little boring.

jamesdooleyy

Spent 10 days here at Blue Lagoon Resort. Unfortunately our check in was a nightmare during the earlier hours of 6/5/24, there was one person on the front desk and flights of people trying to check in. It took us 2.5 hours of standing in the queue before we finally got to our room. The rooms are very basic and the beds weren’t comfy in the slightest. The drinks were extremely watered down and the buffet food I have to say was awful. Generally speaking the hotel is lovely and the staff are brilliant but it really needs an improvement if it wants to get close to the 5* it states it is. I stayed at the Sister hotel (BL Village) years ago and that was levels above.

We've just had an amazing week at Ikos Aria. Stunning location, very clean, comfortable, capacious rooms and nice bedlinen, good food and FANTASTIC service from all the staff. We were super happy with the kids club and the heroes crèche. Guest relations was great and concierge service runs really smoothly. The General Manager himself is omnipresent, he just pops up all the time everywhere and helped us locate a lost jacket. This is the second time we have done an IKOS resort and once again it was a wonderful experience.

This hotel blows anywhere else I have stayed out of the water. The attentive staff can not do enough for you, they really make your experience a holiday to remember!Beds and pillows are super comfy, rooms cleaned daily if not twice a day! All staff were so friendly and accommedating to me being pregnant (if I wanted anything that was not on the menu, cravings etc)The staff in the lobby knew our names and the drinks we ordered by day 2, which is super impressive! So many activities to do, delicious food at the al carte restaurants and buffett.I can not see how any other hotel apart from other Ikos locations will be able to even come to par with my holiday here!If I could score this hotel 10* I would!

We have had yet another fantastic Ikos experience. I would highly recommend you book deluxe for this one. We were so glad that we did as the deluxe pool was fantastic. John and Anistasia were amazing, and we managed to order B52's thanks to Anistasia. Shout out to Fabian at the deluxe pool as well. Food was fantastic everywhere 😋 I would recommend if you go to the island with the church, take sensible footware. Sliders were difficult to climb in but managed. I would also say the sunset cruise is a must, captain is fantastic, and you also get a lot of ouzo. Great holiday, thank you, Ikos team again. Will be back.

Jawad Bellamine

Amazing place with an amazing service. We were there during the summer with our 18 months twins and everything was perfect. They have 8 restaurants and all were great, specially the Greek, Mediterranean, French and Japanese. And the personal at the hotel is really taking care of the guests.

Asha Bhanot

Everything was perfect! Staff were friendly and helpful, literally everything you could think of was taken care of. Food quality and preparation was 5 star all around. The hotel and facilities were kept extremely clean and a lot of care has been taken to ensure a high standard of hygiene. I look forward to going back one day or trying another Ikos resort. The resort really caters to families and we really enjoyed being at a family place with our small children. I don’t think I would go as a couple without kids because there are a lot of families but that’s just a personal preference. Lastly, making special requests before we arrived was very easy. I really appreciate that staff were so responsive on email.

If you're looking for a 5-star establishment, look elsewhere. My family and I had never been accommodated in such a mediocre hotel.- Environment: while the scenery is fabulous, the slopes (up to 30%) of this hotel will quickly make you forget it.- Rooms: it's a disaster. We had room 94, located as far from the pools as from the restaurants. The room was not very clean, totally in need of a refresh. The shower curtain was unhygienic for a damaged bathtub with dirty seals. Very uncomfortable beds causing back pain after 9 nights. To top it all off, a colony of ants had taken over the room. We alerted the maids and reception by showing a video of the cohabitants but no one intervened despite beautiful promises. Towels were old, torn and irritating. Even a roadside hotel wouldn't offer such discomfort to its clients.- Restaurants: you have to book for the à la carte restaurant but you must also notify what you want to eat if you don't want the imposed (Greek) menu. Impossible to order the à la carte steak (+ €20 supplement) as we had not notified beforehand. How to do so when no one has explained the principle before? Quality of the à la carte restaurant menu: really mediocre. The chicken soup made me sick. Main restaurant: a school canteen. Always the same meals with no variety and of poor quality. Don't even think about eating international, it's a utopia. The upstairs does offer a different country's menu each evening, but it remains minimalist and not very tasty. Fish and meat overcooked and therefore dry.For my part, my meals for our first 5 days of vacation were:* morning: mini plain pancakes* noon: tomato sauce pasta and watermelon* evening: tomato sauce pasta and watermelonFrom the 6th to the 10th day, we dined at Thomas Grill & Mezze in Kardamena- Pools: the only positive point even though the surroundings and the very dirty deck chairs were never cleaned during our stay at the pool exit towards Kardamena. The trace of a spilled Pepsi on a table and on the ground remained all stay.- Entertainment: almost non-existent.Really very very disappointed with our family stay at the Grand Blue in Kos. But we will come back for Kos and its really nice inhabitants in another hotel.

CnF_HappyRacer89

A great holiday destination with friendly and helpful staff. The view from the Panorama restaurant at breakfast, lunch and dinner is a fantastic way to spend any mealtime. The hotel is situated on a hillside and as our room was at the bottom of the hill and both all inclusive restaurants were at the top of the hill, it meant we had to burn some calories before we could indulge in the delicious variety of food that was on offer, but the uphill 3 minute walk was definitely worth it.Also for more elderly people who would maybe struggle with the hill, the hotel also has a pick up service with golf buggies which took people to the top, which is also handy for checking in and out with the luggage. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk away from the approximately 500m long pedestrian shopping zone with shops, supermarkets restaurants and pubs left and right and every product imaginable for locals and tourists. We would definitely stay here again.

Enver Tiryaki

It's a nice hotel, but it's not a 5-star one. The rooms are tidy and clean. They have three pools with different depths, and each pool has its own bar. You can enjoy various co*cktails included in the all-inclusive package at the bar, along with canned soft drinks and beer. The beach at the hotel is not very good, and people don't use it much. Fortunately, there are better beaches nearby that you can easily reach on foot. The staff at the hotel are incredibly kind and friendly, and they all deserve five stars for their service. The breakfast was good, but the lunch and dinner were just okay.

Ilija German Ilić

Stayed at Grand Blue in september 2023 with my family. The rooms are spacious enough, with a balcony and seaview so it's quite an enjoyable stay. The rooms are regularly cleaned. Once, there was an issue with AC that the hotel solved immediatelly. Breakfast is good, there's plenty of different choices of food (savoury, sweet, fruit, coffee & juice), but nothing spectacular. The resort features 3 pool places, all equipped with deck chairs and sun umbrellas - we could always find a free spot, despite the hotel being full. There's some organized animation at the pool, usually starting at 4 pm in the afternoon, such as ping-pong tournament, darts, some guided water excercises and similar. There's a live evening programme at one of the pools, nearby our room, that goes on until about 11 pm. Can get quite loud, so if you're a light & early sleeper better it can be annoying I imagine. There's free wi-fi, but it's not working very well (very poor speed, constant disconnects), which is annoying if you need to do some basic work and they should work on improving this. Kardamaina is about 10 mins walking distance and the town is bustling, so it's worth a visit in the evening. Overall it's a very good resort-type establishment with everthing you need in the resort itself, so you can completely relax put your mind at ease for a few days.

Paul Bassett

Staff were great, location great too. I assume that this hotel has all the ticks in boxes to be able to call itself a 5 star hotel but the facilities don't quite match up to other 5 star hotels I have visited. However, look at the price. If go here expecting something akin to a 4 star hotel then you won't be disappointed. Would I go back? Yes.

Really enjoyed our time at the hotel. It was really well positioned within (long) walking distance of Kos town and on the beach front with a great view across the sea to Turkey. The hotel is a little older now so would maybe suggest it’s more of a European 4*+ hotel as opposed to 5 but don’t let that put you off as the food and value make up for it.

Zane Sierant

A lovely hotel with a very attentive service, perfect amenities for kids - dedicated pool area with 3 slides, a large playground, kids club, ice cream and pancakes station, beautiful beach. We also enjoyed the fitness area outdoors with multiple group activities daily like yoga, pilates, full body workout etc. Only downside is the wind, which for a visit in May was a bit chilly some days especially with pools not being heated, but probably the wind is a benefit in the midsummer heat. Thank you for the wonderful time here!

The room cleaning service was 5* the rooms was cleaned and made and towels changed sometimes 3 times a day. Absolutely super friendly staff bed made with flowers and very friendly absolutely amazing !!We are now on our 8th night and only managed to get a booking in one of the other 2 restaurants what are fully booked every dayThe girls are the kids club by swimming pool was very friendly, and reception and the tour planner on the desk are very friendly and polite.I paid £3,000 for 12 nights for 3 of us. For the money I would come back and recommend.

This hotel and staff are exceptional. Nothing is too much trouble, from the moment you arrive to the minute you leave. The food is restaurant standard. The rooms are beautifully decorated, everything is spotless. The reception staff are fabulous, always ready to help. You won’t be disappointed.

Once upon a time this was probably a 5 star hotel but not by todays standards. But don't let that put you off, it's beautifully clean, food is fresh and the staff were all so amazing, nothing was too much trouble. There isn't a variety of restaurants - just 1 special one and the buffet, but the buffet was great - lots of variety and top quality. Had a fabulous week and would definitely return.

David Auty

Just had a wonderful 7 nights at this fine hotel. Yes, it is not 5-star, but I doubt that anyone has paid 5 star prices to stay here recently. We certainly didn't. Our room was cleaned perfectly daily and had the best view ever. The food in the buffet restaurant was superb and plentiful and the staff throughout the hotel were friendly and welcoming. A special mention must go to Zaneta in the Semeli Bar and Nastasia in the restaurant. They both provided us with perfect service all week. They are a credit to the hotel.

Janet Woolhead

Just come back from a wonderful holiday at Kiipriotis Panorama hotel and suitsWhat can I sayWhat a very warm welcome we had at reception we had had problems with flight delays and cases being left at StansteadSo having a light snack and a very warm welcome was just what was neededBreakfast Lunch and Dinner was of a very high standard with plenty to choose from. Just leaving our holiday and we have had a fantastic time, everyone is so nice and friendly especial the Bar staff at the hotelA big shout out to zaneta she is so hard working and service with a smile we will return thank you Kay

I was concerned about coming to this hotel after reading lots of negative reviews. It definitely is not a 5* hotel but with the same breath our experience was no where near as bad as other people who were saying avoid this hotel.I would praise their housekeeping. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and yes there were stains on the carpets in our room and along the corridors but it was clean and our room was serviced every day.The reception team were very helpful and we ordered a couple of picnics for days out, which had plenty of choice for a lunch. The 2 Girls who worked the pool bar every day did an amazing job and managed to serve people in a very friendly and quick speed. The food in the Buffet restaurant was fairly varied. We enjoyed our breakfast. It was a bit annoying at lunch and dinner that when a dish ran out it wasn't restocked. So when we were getting our starters and noticed something in the main dishes that we fancied trying you had to hope there would still be some left after you'd eaten some starters. The salads were always delicious and fresh. I definitely shouldn't have had so many desserts 🎂. All the staff working in all the dining areas worked very hard and our used plates and cutlery were soon removed. They could do with a slightly nicer wine, I needed to add some Sprite to the glass 😲. The A La Carte restaurants made a nice change to the Buffet restaurant and all served tasty food and drink. The staff in the main bar did their best to serve people in a friendly and efficient way but we didn't use the bar that much in the evening, we like to take a couple of drinks to our balcony and chill with a game of cards. All in all a pleasant experience but don't expect a top class 5* establishment

Lovely resort. We had to upgrade to super all inclusive which is a shame and we still didn’t have access to all drinks. For an extra 100 euro, it really wasn’t worth it at all. When we arrived the room was lovely however the sitcom was leaking so we boiled in the room on the first night until an engineer came the next day. The entertainment was almost non existent. The resort is so big you have to get a buggy almost everywhere. The buggies are nearly never available. The pool was lovely and the spar was great. However the water for the spar was freezing. The food was very repetitive however on 1 occasion they did do a really nice BBQ. I’d say the biggest let down was the entertainment. We could hear music from other hotels that sounded more fun. And because the resort is in the middle of nowhere, there’s barely anything that you can go do outside of the resort because nothing is in walking distance.

Great for a quiet getaway. It's in a secluded area but lots to do on site. The staff are friendly, the hotel is clean and the food is nice. I've seen other reviews about dress code, you can wear shorts to meals, they mean to wear a t-shirt and not come in straight from the pool. It's worth a visit.

The staff are the best thing about this hotel, they were all amazing. The mosquitoes were the worst thing. If you are considering doing the upgrade please read all of the information, as we found that it still does not include all of the branded drinks, you still have to pay for certain ones, which I felt was unfair. The food is good but sometimes things were cold, granted a microwave was provided but sorry I don't feel I should be warming my own food whilst on holiday, and the variety of food was not that great either. The smaller pools suited us as they were quieter and right by our apartment, which was great. Don't bother with the alarcarte pool side restaurant, food was lovely but the drinks were twice the price of the pool side bar. We enjoyed our holiday here very much but have definitely had better elsewhere. Again well done to all the staff they were so good.

Advertised as 5 star, i can say hand on heart, they are far from that. 3 star is more realistic. Food is disappointing, spouts and undercooked eggs for breakfast yummy, room was clean but basic. Room service closes at 2300 tried at 2230 and was told it was too late??Beach bar charges for drinks, if you get room service it comes with a charge plus the cost of the food.On the plus, staff are friendly, grounds are clean.......

Very lovely hotel. Clean , beautiful marble in the main area of the hotel and reception . Reception lady Katarina was exceptional, and explained everything perfectly. We had to carry our bags to the man down the main steps to reception sitting on the buggy waiting to take us to our room. The room we had was not a 5* one but it was clean , tidy ,spacious and had a nice big wardrobe and lots of drawers. No little free items like a shower cap, or cotton buds in the bathroom. Tea and coffee making facilities were always replaced but no milk was ever left and we were a fair walk from reception. The shower head was in the middle of the bath not at the head of the bath and it faced inwards to the wall so showering was tricky so let maintenance know. The bath was a jacuzzi but the dial to convert the plug from shower to bath was broken so everytime someone had a shower or bath the water wouldn't drain so had to call maintenance/reception. Just asked the man to take the plug out for us in the end so unfortunately no more Jacuzzifir the little one. One large restaurant served breakfast lunch and dinner it was very nice and spacious when we visited. A good array of foods not much choice for children like chicken nuggets fish fingers though.. Unfortunately nearly everything was served luke warm on cold plates so was cold by the time you returned to your seat. Drinks are self service. Plates are cleared away by waiting staff adequately. There is a microwave I noticed on the last morning next to the coffee machine. Even though this seems negative I highly recommend this hotel. It is beautiful here. The pools and bar staff amazing. The Beach is only a 15 minute slow walk and is really lovely. We had a 5 year old with us who loved it and the playground there. Bring bug spray and savlon as ants , mosquitoes and midges everywhere.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff was absolutely amazing and incredibly polite. Afrim, Panos, Christina, and Sam deserve special mentions for their exceptional service. They were always attentive and went out of their way to ensure my stay was perfect. The hotel itself is impeccably clean, which added to the overall comfort of my stay. I also appreciated that it wasn't too busy, providing a peaceful and relaxing environment. One of the highlights of my visit was the hotel's pizza service. The pizza man was fantastic, delivering delicious pizzas with a smile and a warm, friendly attitude.Additionally, the hotel boasts a small but charming beach. It's truly a gem, offering stunning views that make for a perfect, relaxing day by the sea.Overall, this hotel offers a perfect blend of excellent service, cleanliness, and tranquility.

We stayed in October 2023 and was upgraded to the swim up room due to it being my birthday, however the pools were far too cold to go into regularly. Food was nice with different themes each night but breakfast was very repetitive but we loved the gyros in the snack bar. Entertainment was good but had the same acts rotating. Kardamena town is a 20 minute walk with loads of amazing bars and restaurants

Well what can I say, we had a fantastic stay at Sovereign Beach hotel. Everything was beautiful and well presented. The pool areas were lovely and it was always easy to find towels, sunbeds and parasols. The beach is kept very tidy and there are ample sunbeds, shade, towels, etc. The rooms are spacious and clean. The Staff were absolutely brilliant, very kind and always willing to help. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were very good and of adequate variety for every taste. The rooms were ample, adequate and comfortableOverall we had a lovely, relaxing stay and will certainly return in the future.

Visited October 2023The hotel is situated along the coast from Kardamena which is about a twenty minute gentle walk along the coast. The walk into Kardamena is beautiful with a beach running from the hotel all the way into the town, port and marina - 'A' for location. The hotel itself is low-rise with rooms over three floors in the main building where we stayed. There are smaller apartment blocks available in the immaculately maintained gardens. Our room had a superb view of the coast and Turkey (The Country) in the distance - 'A' for awesome view. The room was clean, large and comfortable. The shower room was also a decent size and well maintained.Being the end of the season the hotel was winding down, this suited us. The buffet food was delicious and varied - enough for anyones palate in my view - 'A' for food.We were there on an all-inclusive basis so enjoyed the free bar.Oh; and the beach was wonderful and as described. The staff were also brilliant including the chamber maid - 'A' for the staff.I totally enjoyed my time there, it was wonderful.

Just a magnificent place! Every little thing about this hotel makes you feel welcome. From the moment you check in the staff is there for you with a hospitality that's out of this world. The hotel itself is very luxurious and highend and just a small walk (about 40 minutes) from Kos City. The view you get over the beach and sea are insane, the sunset can be seen from the poolbar and the restaurant at the first floor, for truly amazing pictures. We surly will be back next year! Greatings the 707's

Yikes.. Started out well but turned into something rather unpleasant. First of all, this is not a 5* hotel, more like a good 3*/3.5*.Good things:Comfy bedsLarge pool areaFriendly breakfast staff!Bad things:- Our bedsheets weren’t changed during our 9 night stay- There’s water leaking from the bathtub going all over the floor.- Small things like no hangers in the room, but you can hang your clothes in the closet on a theft proof hanger. Do they assume guests steal those?- Housekeeping WILL go and sniff around your personal stuff. I had the pleasure of them using my perfume. Wondering what else they’ve done.- The way the front desk handled the situation. The woman literally told us, that it could be someone else than the housekeeping. So I guess people break in here? I doubt it.- Management is horrible. They will talk down to you and be utterly aggressive. A woman literally told me I was lying and hung up on me.- No spaces for just hanging out, but the pool and the lounge by the reception. This place has so much potential and it would be nice with a garden / a quiet place with a bench.

During my stay at this incredible resort in Kos for 5 nights, I had an absolutely fantastic experience! The resort boasts one of the best pools you can experience in a resort of this category, which was simply amazing. The facilities and amenities provided during my stay exceeded all expectations, and the food options, especially the breakfast, was absolutely delightful! What really made this resort stand out, though, was the super friendly and amazing staff! They always greeted guests with a warm smile, were attentive to any needs, and made me feel incredibly special as a guest. I’m already looking forward to returning to this wonderful resort in the future!

Arron I

It saddens me to say but this restaurant looks beautiful yet the food is simply not good at all, the food tastes manufactured, the produce is not fresh and most likely used from the left overs from breakfast. There is no sense of culinary flavours and taste bland. The Rooms are not great, stains on bed and couch. No care hereThe pool is amazing service is greatNot 5 star level would give this a 3.5 star hotel level.A shame as this place has so much potential

Perfect 🌟✨🙏🏼We stayed in Superior Double Room. The hotel is so clean, the decoration is so pleasant, olive trees are great .The cosmetics at the bathroom were good. The staff is friendly & helpfull. The breakfast was so delicious . We prefered salad & pizza at lunch time, they were also so delicious. The hotel is close to Kos center. We went to taverns for dinner by taxi arranged by the hotel desk. Thanks Diamond Deluxe Hotel 💐🙏🏼

**Review: Kos Grecotel Imperial LuxMe**I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Kos Grecotel Imperial LuxMe and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The hotel boasts a stunning Mediterranean flair that truly sets it apart. The ambiance is charming and relaxing, making it the perfect getaway spot. The service was outstanding throughout our stay. The staff was attentive, friendly, and always eager to help, ensuring every aspect of our visit was perfect. Whether it was at the pool or in the various dining areas, the service consistently exceeded our expectations. Our room, while not brand new, was in good condition and very comfortable. It had all the amenities we needed, and the housekeeping staff did a great job of keeping it clean and tidy. The decor reflected the hotel's overall Mediterranean theme, adding to the charm. One of the highlights was the pool area, which was beautifully maintained and offered excellent service. Lounging by the pool was a delight, with staff readily available to assist with drinks.Overall, Kos Grecotel Imperial LuxMe is a fantastic hotel that combines excellent service with a beautiful Mediterranean setting. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy a relaxing and luxurious vacation.

Not quite 5 star, the rooms need updating. On the other hand service above average. Plenty of food choices. A few swimming pools, though all outdoor pools were unheated(late October and cold water) Beach was pebbles but very clear water and plenty of sea life for a spot of snorkeling. Had a kids club too, which my kids thoroughly enjoyed and insisted on returning back to.

Stayed 1 week August 23. Never stayed anywhere so friendly, anywhere in the world. Staff polite without exception. Most welcoming of our 8 year old too. Very impressed with levels of service. A very well stocked buffet every evening, something for everyone. The room was spotless. Bathroom well appointed. The gardens stunning. The numerous pools clean and inviting.I looked at the couple of negative reviews and concluded, they much have stayed somewhere else!I thoroughly recommend this hotel for a safe enjoyable family holiday.

Excellent for families. Good rooms and facilities. Staff are very friendly and location is good. Ended up renting a car from the hotel and that was the best thing I did . Food is average the pool is busy but the water slides and the beach are fantastic. We would go again but prices have nearly doubled since.

Joseph Hollingworth

Absolutely beautiful hotel and views, the service was perfect and the food was amazing. One of the waitresses, Andrea, was outstanding, she always made our table welcome and even when she was busy she'd come over with a "hi chef" or ask how we were even when she was busy.

Nice relaxing stay here this summer. Is it 5 stars by worldwide standards? No, but it was clean, the food available was plentiful and the drinks kept flowing. The entertainment is usually live music by the pool bar, with snacks available there too. Overall a pleasant stay. The area itself is quiet, but this is what we were looking for.

Stunning hotel!Stayed here in August 2023 and I cannot fault the hotel resort we stayed at. The rooms, service, food, beverages and staff were just phenomenal. The staff work extremely hard throughout your stay and we didn’t want to leave (they even remeber your drinks orders prior to dinner)…The hotel is around few miles from Kos town and if you don’t want to go out, then you have a private pool and beach to relax and unwind 🌍🏝️Each evening the hotel has entertainment and if you are inclusive, you won’t go hungry … or thirsty as this is from breakfast til midnight. Genuinely cannot wait to rebook and head back to the island of Kos!

Stayed here for a week. Family of four, two teenage kids. Our family is not directly "all inclusive" type. But this time we decided to test. And it was great experience. You can really relax as everything will be taken care of. Service is on high level, just ask. Food variety is good especially since you can experience neighbor hotels too.

Just come back from our 2 week stay here, rooms are good, fresh towels mini bar stocked up and cleaned every morning. Staff are great, really accommodating can't do enough for you and always with a smile.Good thing about staying at Akti palace is that you can use Akti beach next door. Regular bus service to and from Kardemeana free of charge. Definitely stay here again

Karin Brennalt

Great service and really good food. Extremely helpful and friendly staff in general. Most of necessities are easily available. Beach is really close and comfortable free sunbeds. Only negative experience we had was with a lady at the kissing fish, the spot is located next to the playground and was closed, our son went to look at the fish and was kicked out by a lady coming out from the Shisha lounge as he was too close to the fish?! Not only was she rude but also could not explain why he can’t look, who she is or why isn’t there a sign that it’s not allowed.

Everything about this hotel is fantastic, from the welcome to service all over the hotel. The service cannot be complimented enough, especially the hotel manager Christina is amazing and a gift to this hotel. She made our stay wonderful and unforgetable. We got a honeymoon surprise as well as an upgrade to our room. This is literally the best hotel i have ever stayed in due to service, and i only stay in luxury hotels worlwide.

The staff make the experience perfect at this hotel. We were greeted on arrival by Catherine and Statos , who were so incredibly welcoming and helpful. We arrived late in the evening and after a welcome drink in the bar and a quick tour of the facilities, we were showed to our room and given sandwiches. Our room overlooked the pool and had morning and early afternoon sunshine. It was spacious and immaculately clean (many thanks to the excellent housekeeping team) and well appointed. We would have liked decent reading lights at the bedside and more hooks in the room for towels, robes, jackets etc, but these are minor complaints! In addition to the excellent, friendly and helpful reception staff, we would like to mention Chris, who served us at breakfast each day and Dimitra who served drinks, always with a smile and gave me a book recommendation! Our evenings would not have been complete without a trip to the bar to catch up with the wonderful Dessy, who was fun and knowledgeable, keeping us entertained with drinks and snacks and local information. We will miss you Dessy! The background music in the bar could have been more upbeat and entertaining and the random tv offerings were probably unnecessary, but the staff made up for the lack of entertainment.I’d also like to mention the ever smiling and helpful Maitre d’ who seemed to work around the clock! We would recommend eating dinner in the restaurant at least once, the experience is comparable to a Michelin star restaurant! The breakfast is also incredible, with so many choices, we never needed lunch. We visited at the end of April and therefore knew we were taking a gamble with the weather. The temperature was lovely, but the wind was intense most of the time meaning the hotel beach was unusable, however we visited Lambi beach several times which was more sheltered and we rode our hire bikes over to Thermi beach which took about an hour (15km).We were so glad we hired bikes, saving €8 each way on taxis into town and enjoying the flat, dedicated cycle path everyday.

My wife and I stayed here for one night in early October 2023 (using a Mr and Mrs Smith voucher we had received as a wedding gift). Our stay was amazing!!! :)The hotel was luxurious and for a boutique hotel, it had a surprising amount of space in all areas (rooms, hallways, pool etc.)!The staff were fantastic! Attentive and helpful, ensuring we were always satisfied. We even got a free upgrade to a sea-facing room! The food was exquisite and as vegans we were glad to see many vegan/vegetarian options available both at the pool and for dinner. The beach by the hotel is small and not the best, however you can see a great sunset! The hotel is about an 5 min drive or 25 min walk from Kos town. Our stay there was bliss and I would strongly recommend you stay here!!

sharon nelson

Stayed here for 13 nights just left, tonight,we had a great time. Lovely rooms, lovely hotel and lovely staff. Cannot speak highly enough of the place. The hotel is so clean and well maintained with staff who are so proud about the place and who are so welcoming and accommodating. We have stayed in lots of lovely resorts but this is one of the best!We will definitely be back and highly recommend this hotel the private beach is beautiful. The pool area amazing the comfiest beds in room and in pool and on beach just all in all amazing. The staff are brilliant nothing too much trouble. We didn't want to leave and definitely have holiday blues for leaving this beautiful place.

I had a fantastic stay at Lango hotel in Kos. It is clear that the top priority of Lango staff is guest satisfaction, everything is well thought out for guests to have the best experience and I particularly appreciated the personalized attentions.First of all, all the staff is very friendly, welcoming and professional. They did their best to get my room ready prior to check-in time which I truly appreciated and they made sure I enjoyed my stay throughout. Rooms are spotless, very spacious and comfortable, however the bathroom is not practical as there is no counter space at all to put down your own toiletries and makeup products. I enjoyed many of the amenities of the hotel including the gym which is very well equipped and clean, the private beach and pool (sun beds are super comfortable). I was a bit surprised that the private beach was located on the other side of the road, it is not very private but the hotel staff makes sure only hotel guests are allowed on the beach.I had a great experience at the spa (partner of the hotel) with Sophia providing one of the best massages I had and they also let me enjoy the spa amenities as long as I wanted. The whole experience was very relaxing.During my stay, I had 2 complaints regarding the food at the restaurant and when I raised my issues the staff reacted very professionally by welcoming my feedback and sorting things out very quickly and more than fairly! Despite of the 2 mishaps, the food was delicious overall. Breakfast buffet was amazing, lots of varieties and options with qualitative products.Lango's staff made me feel very special and delivered the luxury experience I was expecting, if not even more! I hope to return soon and will definitely recommend the hotel.

This one of the finest hotels I have stayed in with regards to service. The are many amazing and thoughtful gestures throughout your stay from handwritten notes from the GM and housekeeping to a snack in room upon arrival because it was late in the evening. All the staff is amazing and the GM is present at breakfast and theme dinners to welcome. It all feels very warm and welcoming. I feel like he sets the tone and all the staff gives you the impression that they love working for Aqua Blu. They all work long hours and many days but are always smiling and meeting your every need.I would definitely recommend this hotel and personally can’t wait to go back.

The hotel was great, the waiters/pool staff were amazing, always on point, always serve with a smile, and it felt they were really happy for you to be there. If I were to rate something less than a 5 star, the breakfast is OK, nothing out standing, but still nice, the prices for drinks can really add up quickly, and the toilet door in the bedrooms are not so discreet and private. But overall, lovely atmosphere, lovely pool, and again, the staff are great. I'd stay again.

Marco

We spent 12 days in this great and beautiful hotel and would like to express from the beginning, a big praise to all the staff. They give everything every day and that 7/7. For us that was not at all self-evident!We had a great stay in a large, modern and beautifully furnished room. The hotel is located in Lambi, a 20-30 minute walk from Kos town. It is an easy walk into town by just following the straight main road. We often took the e-scooter (2.50Euro/per way) and were in 10min of town or in the is a bus station available. It was an overall very relaxing vacation in a first class hotel - highly recommended! The pool and beach are great, with comfortable loungers and daybeds and plenty of privacy.Delicious, varied breakfast, as well as lunch and dinner of top quality. We had a fantastic private dinner on the beach at sunset. The food was indescribably good..Wow - difficult to put into words. We enjoyed it very much and can absolutely recommend it to everyone!

We really enjoyed our short stay at Aqua Blu Boutique Hotel. From the friendliest staff to the amazing clean structure, good food and services.Rooms are big, we had a full sea front suite, beds are comfortable and everything is spot spot clean.Front office/concierge was extremely helpful and organized everything possible for our 3 days stay.Hotel director was very present and welcomed us on our arrival which was a very nice touch. We will for sure recommend and return.

We have returned to Aqua Blu for the second year in a row to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and have been delighted all over again. The staff are wonderfully attentive and kind, in particular Kristel, and also Kostas, the hotel manager. Nothing is too much trouble, and you are made to feel welcome from the moment you step inside by all the staff who greet you, morning and night. We've stayed both years in a pool experience suite, which just adds to the holiday. The room itself is also spacious and clean, and the turndown service includes little touches such as hand-written notes by their head of housekeeping, Paris, who we also had the pleasure of meeting at the managers co*cktail evening. The main pool itself is just as gorgeous, with plenty of beds and umbrellas for shade, along with pool-side service. The hotel is situated right next to the beach, just across a relatively quiet road, and there is a section for hotel guests with sunbeds and beach-side service if you want snacks and drinks. The food served all day is fabulous, including a great spread at breakfast with all the choice you could want. We enjoyed an evening meal for their Italian night this year and it was delicious. There is also a fine dining restaurant onsite, Cuvee, which we ate in last year and it was brilliant. They also have some delicious wines on offer, and the co*cktails are fabulous too! This year, I had two treatments in the Spa; one was a Ko Bi Do facial with Athena, and the other was a relaxing full body massage with Asoute. Both treatments were wonderfully relaxing and I am so grateful to both therapists for their care and attention. I unfortunately had a migraine on our first day and had to rearrange my appointment - not only were the spa staff incredibly kind about it (I'm a therapist myself and understand rescheduling appointments is not always easy) but the treatments made me feel so much better.I can't fault this marvelous hotel, and it's incredibly special team of people who keep it running - and who keep the guests smiling. Thank you for another wonderful holiday Aqua Blu - I'm sure we'll see you again.

Great hotel and the location is perfect. Ideal for a relaxing break. We stayed in one of the beach front bungalows and had a fantastic view of the beach and sea. The staff are all very friendly and offer great service. The rooms are very clean and kept to a good standard. Food was great and varied very day. My only suggestions and feedback would be it would be nice to have a better choice in the bar menus and it was disappointing for a hotel of this level not to be offered branded dinks. Also there was no English speaking TV channels except a news channel, not a major issue as not there to watch TV while on holiday but nice to have the option. WiFi coverage was great. It’s an easy to navigate hotel and everything is a short stroll away but there are a lot of stairs so need to be able to cope with this. Overall a good hotel and i really enjoyed my week there.

Craig Winter (BearsAdventures)

For me this hotel was just what we needed. perfect in everyway. out the way. but still easy to travel to the main town, staff cannot help you enough. it took about 1hr from the airport but the bus travelled around the town so was nice to see what the island had to offer from the start. the complex has 3 pools to choose from and 3 restaurants to choose from we was all inclusive so we tried all of them. we stayed for 11 nights in the suite. we could see the beach from where we was for our morning coffee. the suite we was in was very clean, in fact the whole complex is very clean. i give the food 5 stars and staff the same.

Laura McLoughlin

A stunning hotel and complex. Everything is white which is pure heaven when you see the blue sky and sea. The grounds are so well cared for and immaculate. Food selection is fabulous, we were half board so had to pay for lunch at the pool which was reasonable and very tasty. We were there off season and yet it's still hard to get a spot at the pool , lots of beds with towels on but no one on them this needs to be managed better as it's unfair. Lots of steps, this holiday was a struggle up and down to the beach and various pools and restaurants as it's so spaced out and everything is a climb. I thought I was relativly fit. The sunbeds are in need of a clean, they are quite grubby. The infinity pool is amazing but again it's a fair walk and all pools are very cold. The sea was full of fish and warm so this was amazing, it's Rocky though swim shoes are a must. One final thing - please put something on the end of the chairs in the Greek restaurant to stop the noise 😯😯. Thank you.

Vijay Kumar

Lovely hotel lovely reception staff and overall everyone was very helpful. Led by George, who runs things very well. The rooms we took the bungalow option which were perfect...need more channels in English. Cleaners are superb. The food is the only downside for me...good not great. Pools are fabulous , nd trust me you never get tired of the view. It's stunning. Lovely place

Kristijan Krošelj

Positive: friendly staff, lots of delicious food.Negative: co*ckroaches, ants and other bugs in garden view rooms. Also the bathroom didn't offer any privacy to other people in the room.Overall experience in Dimitra Beach hotel was decent. I feel like I would leave a highly scored review if only there wasn't an issue with the bugs in the room. There are also nice shows held in the evening, but there's also a big difference in quality between them.

I personally think it's a very nice hotel rooms are nice and clean, and fresh water was left every morning. The food was very nice to a great selection for breakfast and evening meals. The only negative is it's a bit far out of the way I enjoy a walk but it's around 1 hour 30mins walk before you hit anything the gym is a tad basic but you can get a session in none the less and it can be windy so a light jacket in the evening for anyone who feels the cold

A lovely hotel. Excellent facilities. Most staff were really friendly. The odd one wasn’t!Only criticism is the room cleaning. Both us and our in-laws complained several times. Bins not emptied, tissues not replaced etc.

Great hotel, amazing surroundings, breathtaking views from infinity pool, delicious food.Special thanks to amazing Varvara for morning yoga and pilates, these activities set the tone for the whole year ahead, until next time in Michelangelo!

all in all - very nice hotel.the infinity pool and its view were incredible. the stone beach wasn‘t too big but definitely alright and the water was super clean and clear.the food was okay, i did expect a bigger buffet and variety (especially for vegetarians) but the food was still very tasty.the staff at the reception was super friendly and helpful.music at night was way too loud sometimes, it was impossible to talk and after some time, sitting there was super exhausting.the waiters in the restaurant were okay sometimes you had to wait a while until you received your drinks. some waiters were really kind and knew what they did, tho!the rooms are newly renovated, beautiful and the cleaning team did a very good job every day!i loved attending the yoga classes each morning, but it would’ve been better if we did it in the shadow and not in the bright sun.all in all, i really liked my stay here, but i really think that there should be stricter regulations regarding the environment. at the beach, they give out single-use cups and they have all of their drinks in plastic bottles instead of drink machines where the drinks come out of huge, recyclable containers.

Incredible hotel. We were upgraded to a suite room for 4 people with 2 children. Everything was perfect. Pools are everywhere, and it is easy to order from bars directly from sunbeds. The food is nice in the 3 restaurants in the resort. Massages are incredible, so relaxing, really professional team. The animation team are so friendly and very talented. Spent 1 week with all my family, it was a beautiful experience.
